Bush's Coneflower is the only species in the entire Echinacea genus with yellow flowers instead of purple — hence its species name 'paradoxa' (paradoxical).
In the wild, it is found only in the Ozark region of Arkansas and Missouri, making it one of the rarest native coneflowers.
It is considered the most fragrant of all coneflower species, with a sweet scent that attracts pollinators from a distance.
