Did You Know?

Despite its name, Sneezeweed does not cause allergies — its pollen is spread by insects, not wind; the name comes from dried leaves once used in snuff to induce sneezing.

Each ray petal is wedge-shaped with three notches at the tip, giving the flower a distinctive pinwheel appearance.

The flower's prominent dome-shaped center disk provides a landing pad for dozens of native bee species at a time.
